Mushroom Forays:
I have a new policy - no more solo mushrooming. Too many times I've had close calls where I've said to myself, "Oops! That could have been bad..." when slipping off a log or hitting a loose rock wrong. So I'm planning to take people mushrooming with me.
I usually like to go looking for Chanterelles on Fridays (before the weekend crowds hit the mushroom fields). That means that this year these are the days of interest:

September 21
September 28
October 5
October 12
October 19
October 26
Plese let me know if you are interested in a mushrooming foray. I'm also open to Saturday or Sunday trips - so if Friday doesn't work for you but a weekend day would be better, please let me know.
